Imran Lodhi
My bandmate, my brother, my companion, Imran Lodhi, the founding member of ADP passed away last night in Canada.
I currently don't have the words to express the shock, the grief and complete heartbreak. I did not think I would have to write a eulogy for another friend so soon.
Please pray for his family and remember Imran in your thoughts and prayers.

I'm sorry for your loss.
drug overdose?
omg!!! i found ut pretty late onwards, at a jamming session at the PACC where band members had a moment of silence for Imran. how did this happen??? Imran had EVERYTHING!! He had friends most importantly whom loved and cared for him. He had adoing fans who were wooed like tween girls at his mesmeric vocals and most importantly he was in Montreal, Canada, away from the wretched tensions and stress of thrid world Pakistan. Why would a person do something like that when he is blessed with so much! I know people who wanted to get out of shitty boring pakistan all their lives but they either dont have the finacials or their visa was rejected, yet they sadlystill move on, life goes on. Why Imran, WHy!! we miss you
There were only laughs, when you entered the room
Today it was dark, there was only gloom
Why did you have, to leave so soon?
I had no clue, you meant so much
My heart is broken, my soul is crushed
Why did u leave, what was the rush?
Just one more line, one more song
Come back and sing, its been to long
I wish I could tell you, im sorry I was wrong
Just for a day, if you were back
I’d tell you your worth
And much more than that
I hope you found your peace at last
All these years, time went by fast
Even though we’re so far apart
You’ll always be in my heart
R.I.P Imran <3
If it were a car accident, or some other incident, someone would've mentioned it. I'll assume accidental drug overdose. But look, practically everyone in the world has done drugs at least once. Don't judge him. In fact, it makes me feel better if he had a hand in his own death, rather than being caught in a freak accident. If it is drugs, then he felt no pain when he went. Regardless, it is a shame; we have lost a good one. What the family must be going through is unimaginable.
Very sad news about Imran Lodhi. About comments posted by Anonymous at 10:22 PM; the neighbor's garden always looks greener, or to put in in a better way, "dur ke dhol suhanay lagtay hain". My friend, you have no idea how lonely and depressing it can get in those developed countries. I have lived in Montreal and I love Pakistan. It's like, would you hate your child if he/she is ugly?
Anyone who thinks Imran overdosed on drugs, please be reassured that he did not. To the person who has written the third post above mine; Anonymous. Please show a little respect when talking about someone who the rest of us loved and adored and who know the truth behind why he died. Don't ask such crass questions on a public forum. Imran was unwell, he suffered from depression. I will talk about this publicly because it's an illness, one that should not be considered a taboo, or hidden. He didn't know what he was doing. But I believe strongly that he is at peace.
i remember him singing sheher kay ansoo, while it was raining.

I have been to the show at Royal Rodale where he also sang...i also met him....very sad to hear this! May your soul RIP...Amen!
